Llma-Campagna-Alameda Mission Chapel and Lima & Campagna Sunnyvale Mortuary are family-owned and operated funeral homes with 175 years combined funeral experience. We personalize each funeral based on the family's customs and beliefs, and we focus our attention on celebrating an individual's life with compassion, respect and commitment at affordable prices. We have a better understanding of our community's expectations that only family-owned and operated funeral homes can.
Typically, corporate-owned funeral homes are more concerned with the bottom line and stock holder satisfaction than personal, family-oriented service. Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Willow Glen Funeral Home, Lima Family Erickson, Lima Family Santa Clara and Lima Family Cedar Lawn are now owned by Service Corporation International (SCI), also known as DIGNITY, of Houston, Texas. Other corporate local funeral homes are Darling & Fischer, owned and operated by Carriage Corporation, which has three locations: Chapel of the Hills, Campbell Memorial Chapel and Garden Chapel.
None of the long-time employees are involved any longer at these corporate-owned funeral homes, and prices have increased dramatically. Local corporate-owned funeral homes mask the ownership to the public, so that consumers will think that the original owner and employees are still operating the business. You see this with the Lima Family Mortuaries (Lima Family Erickson in San Jose, Lima Family Santa Clara and Lima Family Cedar Lawn in Fremont) and Darling & Fischer Mortuaries (Chapel of the Hills in Los Gatos, Campbell Memorial Chapel in Campbell and Garden Chapel).
